About CJ Cross

I'm CJ and I won't be on this website as much as Xander because I have a hard time finding the right books.

I only read books that I am interested in. Like I liked Harrison Geulliuer's book, "The Zombies of Lake Woebegotten.

Or, "Adventurers wanted" Those are relly good books. And I recommend reading it. (I forgot who "Adventurers Wanted".) But I am happy to read your books and tell you if they should have a little more
action, or if there should be a twist in the story. In "The Zombies of Lake Woebegotten", there is a man that is a cerial killer and helps the zombies. Those are my type of books. Alright that me!

Stone Fox Review

Stone FoxStone Fox by John Reynolds Gardiner

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I had to read this book for school, and I liked it a lot more than I thought I would.

Stone Fox is a sad story, but that doesn't mean it's not a good one.

The basic plot of the story is Willy's grandpa has gotten sick. Willy doesn't know why, and he needs to find a way to cure him. Willy really enjoys sled racing and has one dog named Searchlight.

Searchlight is a very faithful and loyal dog, and always has Willy's back.

Over all, I'd recomend this to anyone, but I do warn you, it's very sad.

I bawled at the end.

The Swiss Familly Robinson Review.

The Swiss Family Robinson (Unabridged Classics)The Swiss Family Robinson by Johann David Wyss

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This week I had to read The Swiss Family Robinson for school.

The Swiss Family Robinson is a really great book. It tells the classic tale of being shipwrecked on an island, but with its own twists. The family has many adventures, challenges and fun.

The family is from Switzerland, and they were sailing to join a colony in the new world when a huge storm hit and their ship was destroyed--the only survivors that they know of were themselves and some animals. There are four kids in the family; Fritz, the oldest and the best shot, Jack, the second oldest and best rider, Ernest the smartest and second youngest, and Franz, the youngest who tries to be just like his brothers.

At times the story is sort of repetetive, but it didn't slow the book down at all. I really enjoyed the adventure and action, and I feel like I could survive being shipwrecked myself now that I've read this book!

I'd definitely recommend this book to kids and adults 4th grade and up!

Lost Hero Review!

The Lost Hero (The Heroes of Olympus, #1)The Lost Hero by Rick Riordan

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

In The Lost Hero you meet three new demigods. Piper, who can borrow anything; Jason, who has no idea who he is; and Leo, a builder and class clown.

These three demigods have to go on a new dangerous quest, having to fight evil department store owners, weird movie star snow angles, and even a news host.

Rick Riordan gives all of the Percy Jackson fans, an new book and a new twist to the series. The Lost Hero also brings you back into Camp Halfblood where traitors are hiding and secrets are kept.

I really loved the new mythology and stories in this new book. Combining both Roman and Greek stories gave it that extra spice that makes it just that much better. Adding many more new mysteries and characters, I can't wait for the next book!

Welcome!

This is my first post here! Woot!

Currently I am reading The Base Ball Box Prophecy. I'm really liking it. I like that it's a double story; baseball/time travel and adventure.

I'm just to the part where the bad guy steals the box and Cletis gets the hour glasses. (Don't wanna give too much away, sorry!)
